James Ray Chandler, age 89 of Ohatchee, Alabama passed away on Friday, May 30, 2014. He was a former resident, of Pinson, Alabama. James retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years of service. He was both a WWII and a Korean Veteran. James loved to fish and enjoyed keeping himself busy Tinkering with many project. He is survived by his daughters: Janet Justice (Kirk), Florence Chandler, (Kim), and Carol Morris, Caitlin Chandler; sons: Pedro Valdez (Susan), Jorge Chandler, Gabriel Chandler (Augustina), Jim Chandler (Jo), Duane Chandler; thirteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Services for James Chandler will be announced at a later date.
