Jacqueline Cockrell

Jacqueline Jones Cockrell, age 81, of Birmingham, passed away on October 4, 2020. She was a graduate of Samford University and practiced nursing for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald F. Cockrell, Jr.; and her parents, James and Annie Lou Jones. She is survived by her children, Steven Cockrell (Hope), and Susanne Cockrell Broughton (Randy); her grandchildren, Kala Cockrell Garner (Joseph), Sydney Cockrell, and Ashton Taylor Broughton; her great-grandchild, Barrett Robert Garner; her sister, Donna J. Neilson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Graveside service will be held on Thursday, at 1pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
