Jackie Waters

Jackie V. Waters, age 79, died Sunday, May 19, 2013. She was a great and loving wife, mother, and maw maw. She is preceded in death by her husband, Franklin Eugene "Gene" Waters; son, James Leon "Lee" Waters (Kay); and parents, James J. Jackson Cowan and Virginia Cowan. Jackie is survived by her sons, Christopher Eugene Waters, Garry Allen Waters; grandchildren, Whitney Waters Langston, Joshua Kenneth Langston; great grandchild, Joshua "Riley" Langston; sisters, Barbara Strickland, Patricia Osborn, Mary Atkinson, Judy Graves, Lynda Taylor; brothers, James J. (Buddy) Cowan, Tommy Cowan and numerous other nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens. The service will begin at 12:00 pm in the funeral chapel with Stephen Hooks officiating. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
