Iris Crumbley Waldrop

Iris Crumbley Waldrop, age 84 of Calera, AL, passed away Sunday, March 16, 2014. She was a former resident of Woodstock, GA. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1947. Mrs. Waldrop served as a tax clerk for Jefferson County for 30 years. She was a member of Calera First United Methodist Church. Survivors include her husband, Wallace Waldrop; daughter, Sharon Aderhold (Doug); son, Rodney Waldrop (Dale); grandchildren, Stacy Little (Jason), Shelley Simpson (Tim); Lori Waldrop, Brooks Waldrop (Rebecca); great grandchildren, Ethan, Gideon & Corban Simpson, Audra, Madeline & Luke Little, and Nolan and Wyatt Waldrop. The visitation will be Wednesday, March 19 from 12-2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The service will begin at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel with Tim Simpson and Charles McCullough officiating followed by the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
