Irene Penna

Irene Penna, 88 of Cook Springs passed away on February 8, 2012. Mrs. Penna was a lifelong resident of Birmingham and a member of Crestway Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin C. Penna; her parents, two brothers and one sister in law. Survivors include her daughter, Elizabeth Hilburn (W.O); sister in law, Tava Hollis; grandchildren, Dawn Ray (Charley), William Hilburn IV (Tess); great grandchildren, Nicholas Hilburn, Parker Hilburn and Charley Ray IV and a niece, Diane Davis (Randy). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 11 beginning at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Graveside Services in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East at 1:00 PM.
