Ida Mae Ryant

Ida Mae Ryant, 89, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026 in Springville, Alabama, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on January 17, 1937, in Fitzgerald, Georgia to Herbert and Josie Mae Boyd. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

She is survived by her sons Larry Nicholson (Cindy), Robert J. Ryant Jr., Charles Ryant (Ginger) and many grandchildren, and many, many great grandchildren, as well as sister Sarah Mclaurine.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Ryant Sr; her parents Herbert B. Boyd (Josie Mae); and brothers, Harvey Boyd, Austin Boyd, and Gerald; sister Dorris.

Brother Al Choquette will be officiating

Pallbearers will be: Alex Ryant, James Nicholson, Justin Nicholson, Landon Nicholson, Josh Ryant, and Logan Blansit.
