Icy Sewell

Icy A. Sewell, age 84 of Birmingham, AL passed away on May 17, 2011. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a member of Huffman Baptist Church. She is preceded by her loving husband, John H. Sewell and grandson, Derek Sewell. She is survived by her sons, Mike Sewell (Linda) and Phillip Sewell (Emily); sister, Emogene Benefield (Benny); grandchildren, Michelle Acton, Monica Cook, Shelley Cofield (Skip), and Sarah Chapman (Duane); great grandchildren, Connor Acton, Jansen Acton, Meri-Logan Acton, Hallie Acton, Caden Cook, Caleb and Joshua Chapman, and Grey Cofield; dear family friends, Doris and Bernie Murphee; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Services will be on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Dr. Harper Shannon will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
