Hilda Godwin

Hilda Whitley Godwin, age 83 of Cropwell, AL passed away on October 19, 2009. She was a longtime member of West Woodlawn United Methodist Church and is currently a member of First United Methodist Church of Pell City. She is survived by her husband, John W. Godwin; children, John A. Godwin, Cathy G. Lee (Butch), David Godwin (Laura), Phyllis Chapman (Leon), and Donna Jo Godwin; sisters, Rena Hudson, Beulah Holmes, and Anne Gable; 7 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 21, 2009 from 5 to 7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be on Thursday at 11:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Reverend Sherri Reynolds will be officiating the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First United Methodist Church of Pell City, Moody United Methodist Church, or a charity of your choice. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
