Helen Joann Purkey, age 69 of Tarrant Al, passed away on Saturday, April 17, 2010. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 19 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be Tuesday, April 20 at 10:00 AM with Chuck Nelson officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. She is survived by her mother, Helen Fromhold of Birmingham; brother, Steve (Karen) of Morris; sons, Jeff (Cindy) of Moody; Greg (Candi) of Birmingham; Scott (Leslie) of Leeds and Chet (Stacey) of Pinson; 7 grandchildren, Christopher, Paul, Brandy, Courtney, Sam, Tess and Keegan; and one nephew, Nick. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
