Helen Lawler

Helen G. Lawler, 85, of Pinson, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, December 7, 2025. She is preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Travis Lawler, and parents, B.C. and Pauline Helton.

Mrs. Lawler is survived by her son, H.D. (Tammy) Lawler, daughter, Paula (Mark) Hyde; grandchildren, Alyssa Lawler (Matt Clay), Amanda (Kyle) Shell, Josh (Christina) Lawler, Jessica (Steven) Smith, Heather (Daniel) Evans; great-grandchildren, Juliana, Emmie Ruth, Riley, Parker, and Lawson; sisters, Barbara (Pete) Davidson, Cecil (Joe) Harris; and numerous nieces, nephews, and good friends.

Mrs. Lawler was a devoted servant of the Lord and spent most of her adult life as a Sunday school teacher and active member of the Church serving in various ministries. She was extremely proud of her family and delighted in knowing her children and grandchildren are all Christ followers.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11 AM with funeral and graveside services to follow at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, Alabama. Pastor Nathan Farrow is officiating. Serving as pallbearers are Kyle Shell, Daniel Evans, Josh Lawler, Matt Clay, and Keith Rosetta. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to Compassus Hospice for their love and care. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s of Central Alabama.
