Helen Duffey

Helen Duffey, age 83, of Trussville, AL, died July 11, 2012 at Golden Living in Trussville. She was retired from Trussville Nursing Home, and was a member of Southside Baptist Church. More recently, she attended regular church services at the nursing home. Mrs. Duffey was preceded in death by her husband , Kenneth Ray Duffey; her parents, George Thomas and Nina A. Barnhouse; and brothers, Jim and Dickie Barnhouse. She is survived by her son, David Duffey (Nancy); grandchildren, Karen Isbell (Jamie) and Kevin Duffey (Jaimie); and great grandchildren Coley Isbell, Lane Duffey, and Liam Duffey. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Bro. Dewey Corder officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org or the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org/donate/default.aspx.
