Helen Dooley Bryant (Nana), age 81, passed away peacefully in her home on August 4,2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She lived her life as a reflection of strength, grace and deep faith in God. Born on October 27, 1943, Helen spent her life caring for others- both professionally and personally. She was a Registered Nurse starting out working in the Emergency Room, then many decades as a Labor and Delivery nurse. She was an avid seamstress who poured her love into every stitch, whether she was quilting, scrapbooking, or crafting something special for a loved one. She even sewed her own beautiful wedding dress the night before her wedding. She served faithfully at Crosspoint Church, where she was an active part of the Stitches of Grace ministry, making quilts for families going through hardships. She will be remembered for her strength, sense of humor, and most of all her unwavering love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, and her family. Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband Carl Howard Bryant, and her son Jeffrey Howard Bryant. She is survived by her sons Eric Lasseter Bryant (Diane), Rusty Edward Bryant (Karrie); her grandchildren Whitney Bryant (Cameron), Haley Patterson (Ricky), Lauren Martin (Jonathan), Kelsey Bryant, Madison Wood (Dylan), Morgan Bryant, Aaron Hill, and Cole Johnston; and her eight great-grandchildren Lily, Ivie, Olivia, Emerson, Cohen, Ozias, Anniston, and Carson. She is also survived by her loving sisters: Becky Sauls, Betty Chambers (Don),and Kathy Walker (Tom), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
