Grover Armstrong

Grover Lee Armstrong, age 90, of Irondale, AL passed away on July 31, 2016. He was a Birmingham native and was a member of South Roebuck Baptist Church. He was a WWII veteran who served in the Navy. He was inducted in the Talladega Hall of Fame Racing Pioneers in 1996. He is survived by his son, Brooks Armstrong (Debra) and his grandchildren, Christopher and Savanna Armstrong. A graveside service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery on Friday, August 5th at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends will gather at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. prior to the service.
