Gertrude Hood

Gertrude G. Hood, age 91, of McCalla, AL passed away on April 3, 2011. She was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband A.J. Hood and her daughter, Trudy Godsey. She is survived by her daughter, Beth Dickinson (Bill); brother -in-law, Barney Hood; grandchildren, Trudi Brooksher (Rick), Wayne Collier (Rebecca), Terri Dickinson, William Stacy Dickinson (Laura); numerous great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 12pm with visitation one hour prior to service time at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
