Gerald Raymond Winfield, Jr., age 75 of Birmingham, AL passed away on May 28, 2026. He retired as a Birmingham Firefighter from Station #28 after serving over 30 years as a firefighter at Station # 14 and then retiring from Station #28. He preceded in death by his parents, Gerald R. Winfield, Sr. and Mildred Winfield; sisters, Cheryl Bell and Pamela Winfield and his daughter, Annette Bennett. He is survived by his son, Matt Winfield; brother, Michael Winfield (Tammie); sister, Lynda McAdams; granddaughters, Linley and Layla Winfield; nieces, Hallie, Christin, Laura and Amy; nephews, David, Joseph and John Michael.
