Gerald Brooke

Gerald Lawrence "Jerry" Brooke, 72 of Trussville passed away on November 6, 2008. Jerry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a Korean Veteran in the Navy stationed aboard the USS Montrose. Although a native of California Jerry was an adopted southerner. He retired after 33years from Chicago Bridge and Iron and was also a member of the Shriners and Masons. Survivors include his wife, Bettye Brooke; two daughters, Cindy Krenz (Michael Price and Mike Krenz) and Cheryl McKinley (Dennis); one brother, Richard E. Brooke of California; 8 grandchildren, Robert Krenz, Beau Krenz, Kasey Krenz, Hunter Krenz, Crystal Mattson, Candice Brannon, Charles Jaggers, Jr. and Jay Boyd; 4 great-grandchildren, Savannah and Andrew Mattson and Dawson and Eloise Brannon. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9 from 5:00 i�½" 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Chapel services will be held on Monday at 2PM and burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
