Georgia Heflin

HEFLIN, GEORGIA BEA "NANNY", of Moody, AL went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 3, 2010 at the age of 77. She was a wonderful, loving mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was a very strong lady with an unfailing faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hendon Weems, parents, Lewis and Nishia Heflin, sister, Nellie Norred, 2 brothers, Horace and Floyd Heflin, and son-in-law Vernon Webster. She is survived by 3 daughters: Anita Gayle Webster, Sherry Bynum, and Becky McGowan; six grandchildren: James Webster, Bobby Bynum (Leticia), Tammy Hardin (John), Jeff Bynum (Jennifer), Donald Webster (Cheri), and Angela McGowan; 11 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to John Hardin for all his loving care during this difficult time. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville with Brother Lawrence King officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.
