Gary Milton Tucker entered heaven on July 16th at the age of 73. He was born on January 11,1953 to Robert “Bob” Tucker and Mattie Jo. He grew up in the heart of Trussville, Alabama surrounded by a host of cousins and special friends. He graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School and then completed training to become a master journeyman plumber. He retired from Jefferson County Board of Education, where he used his skills to service many schools. He had a love for the outdoors, tinkering with projects that kept him busy, and Alabama Football.

Gary is survived by his children, Jill (Scott) West, Shelby (Danielle) Tucker, and Justin Thomas, his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, his sister Donna Deavours, and his nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Bob (Jan) Tucker, Mattie Jo (Ed) Hall, his grandparents, and a host of cousins, and friends.
