Gail Lowery

Gail Joyce Aldrich Lowery of Bessemer was called to her eternal home on April 1, 2025 at age 83. She was born on July 26, 1941 in Birmingham to the late John Albert Aldrich Sr and Hannah Louise Robbins Aldrich. She graduated from Hueytown High School in 1959. She graduated nursing school at University Hospital in Birmingham. For a while she worked at Charity Hospital in New Orleans. Back in Birmingham she worked at Lloyd Noland Hospital, Carraway Methodist Hospital, and Princeton Baptist Hospital. She retired in 2010. She loved horses, her family, and working in her yard. She met the love of her life Robert(Bob) Lowery and married on December 17, 1966. She is preceded in death by her two infant daughters, Stacy and Kristen. Her husband Bob Lowery, and her parents John and Louise Aldrich.

She is survived by her daughter Jenne Lowery. Grandsons, Rob Lowery and Aaron Hall.

Brother, Johnny Aldrich(Shea) and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, favorite horses, and her special dog "Trump".

Public viewing will be Monday, April 7th, starting at 2pm and ending at 4pm, at Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church

No services will follow. In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place afterwards.
