Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo, Alabama with Pastor Tommy Sanders officiating.

Frederick Eugene “Bebaw” Coleman, 92, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025. A devoted husband, father, and friend, Frederick will be lovingly remembered for his steadfast dedication to family, faith, and service.

Born in Pittston, Pennsylvania, Frederick was the son of Eugene Coleman and Viola Bressler. He grew up surrounded by a large and loving family and carried those values of loyalty, faith, and perseverance throughout his life.

Frederick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and later built a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a proud member of the F & AM Grand Lodge of Alabama, the National Alumni Association at the University of Alabama, and a devoted member of Dawson Baptist Church.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Kay Coleman; daughter Robyn Hendrickson; siblings Alice Scalzo, Miriam Morris, Billie Ann Lukesh, Rita Jean Morgantini, and Charles Bressler (Darlene); step daughter Gina Stevens and step son Derek Gunn; grandchildren Thomas Hendrickson, Garrett Hendrickson (Isabel), Joshua Oldham (Heather), Hannah Oldham, Azaline Adkison (Liam), and Gabriel Stevens; 8 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family members. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter Cindy Coleman, son Gary Coleman, and siblings Betty Joan Francis and Edith Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army or the charity of your choice in Mr. Coleman's memory.
