Fred Hedgepeth

Fred Randall Hedgepeth, age 63, passed away Monday June 22, 2009 at home with his family. He was retired from Birmingham Police Department, and was currently Chief with Jefferson County Security. Fred was an active member of S.A.S.S. where he was known as "Flatnose Fred". He was preceded in death by his daughter Lisa Hedgepeth. Services will be Thursday June 25, at 2pm in the Chapel with visitation one hour before services. He is survived by his wife Dianne and their 4 children Joseph Hedgepeth wife Dawn, Cyndy Hill husband Jason, Blake Barr wife Angela, and Tom Barr, and eight grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Salvation Army.
