Frances Eleine Dodd Hulon Burrow

Eleine was Born November 3, 1926 and passed from this life on December 31, 2021.

She is Pre Deceased by her parents Tunice and Ruby Dodd, husband Claude Burrow, sons Joe and Ted Hulon and daughter Diane Dawkins

Survived by her son Jeff Hulon, granddaughters Lauren Hulon, Katie Dawkins, Nancy Dawkins, Jodi Hulon, Allie Hulon. Adopted granddaughter LeAnn Streetman. Grandson, Jud Hulon, and her great grandchildren.

Eleine graduated from Furman University with a degree in Home Economics. She went on to earn a Teaching Certificate from Samford University and taught second grade at Chalkville Elementary for over 25 years. She spoke very fondly of her former students and fellow teachers from her time at Chalkville.

She attended Chalkville First Baptist Church for over 50 years and was a dedicated member of the choir and handbells, as well as taught her beloved Sunday School class and enjoyed Sunday lunches with her lunch bunch and devoted friends, Anne Grimes, Christine Patistea, Grace Elmore.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Visiting Angels for providing care in her last days, with a special thanks to Nina Stringfellow and Mikia Jackson for their loving and devoted care until the very end. An additional special thank you to Jackie Gray with Comfort Care Hospice for her caring demeanor.

Services will be held Tuesday January 4th, 2022 Viewing will start at 11 with services at 12:00 pm. Burial to follow.
