Frances Lacey

Frances Payne Lacey, age 88, of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on Thursday, May 5, 2016. Frances was a native of Altoona, AL. She enjoyed gardening and arranging cut flowers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dave Lacey; son, Mark Lacey; parents, Thornton and Mary Payne; sister, Thelma Hopper. Frances is survived by her nephews, Edward Hopper of Athens, AL and Daniel Hopper of Altoona, AL; her sister in the Lord and family, Betty Houston-Jones and JJ Jones. "We love you, but God loved you the most". Viewing will be held from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Wednesday, May 11, 2016. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Samuel's Chapel UMC Cemetery in Altoona, AL at 10:00 a.m. Reverend Tim Smith is officiating.
