Finis Sanders

Finis Horace Sanders age 87 of Birmingham passed away March 20, 2009. He was retired as a supervisor from International Paper. He was a mason and served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He is survived by his wife Wynelle Sanders; daughters: Glinda Smith (Ross) and Willene Allen (Ralph); sister: Frances Burkett; grandchildren: Susan Shaw (Stan), Taffi Stewart (James), Ralph Allen, Jr., and Jeff Allen (Laurie); great grandchildren: Zac Shaw, Max Stewart, Griffin Stewart, Keaton Allen, and Kyle Allen. Chapel funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2009 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Monday prior to the service from 12:30-2:00. Burial will follow in the Field of Honor in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
