Faye Sawhill

Faye H. Sawhill, age 85, of Center Point, passed away on August 14, 2017. She was a piano teacher and an organist at Hilldale Baptist Church for 51 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Thelma Hicks; and her husband, Bill Sawhill. She is survived by her daughter, Karen Shirley (Ed); her son, Greg Sawhill (Donna); her grandchildren, Candice Rollins (Adam), Courtney Buchanan (Adam), Kyndle Ray, Kyle Sawhill, and Justin Sawhill; her great-grandchild, Ella Rollins; her brother, Glenn Hicks; her nephews, Steve Hicks and Alex Smith; and her nieces, Aubrey Smith and Julie Smith (Bart). Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 18, at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
