Faye Economes

God called Faye Sellers Economes home on January 17, 2022. Proceeded in death by her loving husband Costa Economes, Sr.; mother, Ola Pennington; father, Grady Pennington; and siblings: Harold Pennington; Naomi Adams; Jack Pennington; Ruth Barron. Surviving family members; Bill Sellers, Jr. (Denisa), Jill Sellers, Jeff Sellers (Janet); Grandchildren: Josh and Mira Whitworth; Justin Sellers (Christen), and Jordan Sellers. Surviving extended family members: Costa Economes, Jr (Melissa); Michael Economes (Tammy); grandchildren: Anthony; Brianna; Steven; Seth; Marlie; Dawson. Faye was a member of Trussville First Baptist Church where she enjoyed fellowship with many. Early on in her career, she worked at Joy Manufacturing and later enjoyed a long career in professional medical staffing. She always had a fondness for elderly people that led her to work in the elder care industry late in her career. After retirement, she continued her work with the elderly in a volunteer capacity. Faye extends thanks to all of her church family for their kindness and prayers as well as many other family members and friends. A graveside service will be held on Monday, January 24, 2022 at 2:00PM at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville.
