Evelyn Monteith

MONTEITH, EVELYN R. Evelyn R. Monteith, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 9 August, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter O. Monteith; and her daughter, Annette M. Thrasher. She is survived by her children, Walter O. Monteith, Jr., James M. Monteith and wife Sharon, and Susan M. McDonald and husband David; her brothers, Harold Ratliff and Thelbert Ratliff; her grandchildren, Bre T. Blackwell, David O. McDonald, Scott B. McDonald, Melissa R. McDonald, Lindsay M. Stallworth, Colton J. Monteith, Rylan A. Monteith and Tyler G. Monteith; and her great-grandchildren, Ethan G. Howard, Evelyn A. Blackwell and Jaidyn T. Stallworth. She was a loving and caring woman who inspired the best in her children and grandchildren. Her family will miss her very much. Visitation will be held from 11-12 on Saturday, 15 August at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville AL followed by a memorial service at 12 PM and burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens next to her beloved husband.
