Evelyn G. Johnson

Evelyn G. Johnson (Jerri) was born to Horace and Jonnie Crenshaw in Birmingham Alabama. She was the youngest of seven children. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James C. Johnson. She was lovingly known as “Granny”. She is survived by children James C. Johnson, (Abbie), Jennifer Smith (Ken), Joel A.Johnson (Elizabeth), grandchildren Brandon Johnson (Brittany), Brett Johnson, Lauren Newman (Josh), Thea Mitchell (Patrick), Karlee Pritchett (Chandler), Morgan Allen (John), Madison Cummings (Brandon) and 8 great grandchildren Ava, Charlie, SJ, Evelyn, Stella, Claire, Gray and Trace. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her so much joy and happiness. 

We would like to thank the staff at Hope Hospice and our friend Lori Felts. They cared for her as if she was family. 

There will be a graveside service Saturday March 9 at 10:00am Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville.
