Evelyn Hollingsworth

Evelyn Doss Hollingsworth, 94 of Birmingham died at her residence May 13, 2010. Mrs. Hollingsworth was a Calhoun County native and a member of the First Baptist Church of Jacksonville AL. She was preceded in death by her husband, C.O. (Jack) Hollingsworth; a daughter, Paulette Bowman; her parents, Rev. John Doss and Minnie Doss; six brothers and five sisters. Survivors include her two sons, Fred Hollingsworth and wife Jackie of Matthews NC and Jim Hollingsworth and wife Jan of Birmingham AL; three sisters, Maybelle Higgins, Myrtle Fuqua, Gladys Lancaster all of Anniston AL; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 17 at 11:00 AM in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens in Jacksonville AL. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
