Esther Mabe

Mrs. Esther Evelyn Mabe, age 81, died Wednesday, August 20, 2014 in Trussville. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville. Evelyn was the daughter of Porter Jackson Keith and Fannie Katherine Woods Keith. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John P. Mabe; her daughter, Kathy (Chris) Kennedy; her son, Johnny (Paula) Mabe; sister, Geneva Sanders (Carroll); Five Grandchildren, Nicki Goodwin (husband Jason), Brittany Bryant (husband Stephen), Keith Kennedy (wife Lindsey), Melissa Donaldson (husband Chris) and Andrea Booker. Six Great Grandchildren; Preslee and Piper Goodwin; Mason Bryant; Will and Henry Donaldson and Bella Booker. Host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 12:00 pm Friday, August 22, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Long officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am until service time at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Jefferson Memorial East directing the services.
