Elizabeth P. McFarland, age 84 of St. Clair County passed away on April 12, 2015. She was a member of South Roebuck Baptist Church. She retired as a educational secretary for Birmingham city schools, Elizabeth was an avid bunco and bridge player. She was also a judge for the African Violets association. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur R. "Ralph" McFarland. She is survived by her daughter, Pamela Kim (Beiger); sons, Ronnie McFarland (Wanda) and Darryl McFarland (Terri); sisters, Shirley Foster and Nancy McCraw; brothers, Jimmy Painter and Bothwell Painter; grandchildren: Brad (Braden) and Dustin McFarland)Jay McFarland (Sara) and Casey Rumanek (Eric); great grandchildren: Hadley, Audrey and Mallory McFarland, Campbell Davis and Charlotte Rumanek; many numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 16th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel with visitation one hour prior. Reverend Chris Crain is officiating.
