Elisha "Bill" W. Duckett, Sr.

Age 93 of Trussville, AL passed away on January 8, 2014. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and was loved by many. He was a member of The Healing Place Church. He served in the Merchant Marine, U.S. Army, and Alabama National Guard. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Elijah and Mae Duckett; wife, Lois Duckett; and numerous brothers and sisters. He is survived by his daughters, Mary Hooker (Ben) and Brenda Lee (Joe); son, Elisha "Billy" W. Duckett, Jr. (Judy); sister, Elva Jo Smith (L.J.); 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 12:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
