Elene Armstrong

Elene Armstrong, age 96, of Birmingham passed away on August 30, 2016. She was a caring lady, who loved her flowers, dogs, and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Woody Armstrong; and her granddaughter, Colleen Doherty. She is survived by her daughters, Thelma Yarbrough (Larry), Debbie Layton (Donald), Diane Sanders (Roger); 8 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 8 great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be Friday, September 2 at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville at 2pm. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
