Elbert Brooks

Mr. Elbert "Buster" Brooks, age 83, of Hoover, AL passed away at his home on October 29, 2023. Mr. Brooks was a retired police officer with the City of Homewood, and a graduate from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He was member of Hoover First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 49yrs, Linda L Brooks, and his son, Sean D Brooks. He is survived by his son, Jeff A Brooks of Helena, AL.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Nov. 2, 2023 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the funeral home. Entombment will be private at Jefferson Memorial Gardens In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider contributing to The Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
