Elaine Park Deas

August 31, 1944 — January 22, 2026

Our beloved Elaine Park Deas, 81, born August 31, 1944, of Birmingham left this earth to be with her Heavenly Father January 22, 2026 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband Ronny Deas, parents Louis and Effie Geneva Park, and siblings Louis Park Jr., Jerry Nell Hays, Thomas Park, Donna Hann and Jane Park. Elaine is survived by her daughter Rhonda Fuller (Jeff) and son Mark Deas (Suzi); grandchildren Katelyn Asbury (Paul), Rachel Kirkpatrick (Michael), Ava Penot (Gabe) and Harrison Deas; great grandchildren Audrey & Amelia Asbury and Miles & Miller Kirkpatrick; brother Robert Park and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Phillips High School and an honor student at Alverson-Draughon College. Elaine married her high school sweetheart in 1963. She attended beauty school, was a self-taught seamstress, an excellent cook and became everyone’s “unofficial personal shopper”. All these skills she carried into caring for her family. Elaine lived her life taking care of others, especially her children and grandchildren. Elaine was a long-time member of Huffman First United Methodist Church but recently moved her membership to Trussville First Methodist. Elaine will forever be remembered by her adoring family as the most devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother, whose faithfulness to her Lord and family never wavered. Visitation will be held at 10am Friday, January 30, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville with service to follow at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance or Trussville First Methodist Church.
