Edward Hunt

Edward Hunt, age 80 of Odenville, passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Mr. Hunt was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in the Korean War, and was a retired mechanic. He was a faithful member of Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Mr. Hunt was preceded in death by his wife, Nelia Hunt; sisters, Tinny and Garnie; brother, Less; and parents, John and Ada Hunt. He is survived by his daughters, Lania Stinson and Lenny Thrasher and sons, Jerome Mitchell, Steve Hunt, and Kevin Hunt; sisters, Brenda, Wanda, Rhonda, Marthie, Gerly, and Doris; brothers, Lawrence, Fairly, Donny and Kenny; along with 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Trussville from 12 until 2 pm, with funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2 pm with Brother Howard Hopkins officiating.
