Edward Hand

Edward Hand, 92 passed away on March 16, 2009. Edward was a veteran of the United States Navy and retired from Southern Railroad. He lived most of his life in Birmingham and the last 25 years in Kimberly AL and attended the Church of God in Eastlake and Kimberly. He is survived by his son, John E. Hand, Sr. (Karen) of Oneonta; a sister, Marie Raines of Birmingham; three grandsons and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be held on Thursday, March 19 at 10:00 AM with Rev. Sharber officiating. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
