Eddie Holloway

Eddie Jimmy Holloway, Sr., age 84, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 2, 2012. He is retired from the Painter's Union Local # 57. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in WWII. He is preceded in death by 9 brothers; 2 sisters; and a grandson, Nicholas Thompson. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Holloway; daughters, Linda Kitchen (Bob), Judy Webb (the late Tommy Webb), Gloria Thompson (Mike), Margie Brown (Joey), Rhonda Holloway and Wanda Holloway; son, Eddie Jimmy Holloway, Jr.(Joyce); brother-in-law, Junior Hall (Lois); 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 4, 2012 from 5-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, March 5, 2012 at 12:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
