Earline Cushman

Mrs. Elizabeth Cushman, of Birmingham, was born on December 13, 1923 and passed away on October 8, 2014. She was a member of Pinson United Methodist Church. Mrs. Cushman was preceded in death by her first husband, James Edward Cushman; her second husband, Bervil Eldridge Freeman; her brother, Vandell Parker; her sister Laverne Cowan; and her son-in-law, Lanny Varner. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Darden (Andy), Brenda Varner; her son Richard Cushman (Debbie); grandchildren, Andrea Stripling (Dennis), Jill Dunn (Wayne), Christie Gingras (Mike), Greg Varner (Karen), Clay Varner, LeaAnn Lemley (Jake), Niki Brooks (Jason), Candice Kontzen (Matt); 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be at 11:00am on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the graveside service on Saturday at Jefferson Memorial Trussville. Jefferson Memorial Trussville is directing.
