Dorothy Jean Watts

Dorothy Jean “Dot” Watts, age 87, of Center Point passed away on September 24, 2020. She was a longtime member of Sun Valley Church of Christ, and a more recent member of Pinson Valley Church of Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by many. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Watts, Jr.; her parents, Alvin J. and Annie Pearl Smith; and her sister, Faye Busenlehner. She is survived by her children, Ronald Dale Watts (Betty J.), Rhonda Reneé Buckner (Chris L.), and Gregory Alan Watts (Kristi); her grandchildren, Tonya, Zachery, Holland, Cody, Allie, Lexie, Kellie; 12 great-grandchildren; her sister, Gail Ward; and special friends and neighbors, Tommy and Kim Thomas. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at Jefferson Memorial at 12pm on Tuesday. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
