Dorothy Sweatman

Dorothy J. Sweatman, 82 of Birmingham passed away on April 22, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie B. and Jeanette Jones. Survivors include her four children, James Henry Sweatman, Jr. (Donna); Donna Nell Sweatman; Connie Brooks (Rusty) and Mark Sweatman; (Shay) brothers, Walter Jones, William Jones, Glover B. Jones and Harold Jones; grandchildren, Jason, Jim, Shelby, Ashley, Madison, Cody and Dallas; four great grandchildren; a special friend, Jean Kent and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 25 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel services will be on Tuesday, April 26 at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Joe Karr officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
