Dorothy Stuart

Dorothy "Deanne" Mooney Stuart, age 78 of Birmingham, AL passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2016. Deanne was born in Illinois and lived in Texas later in life; she did a lot of volunteer work while living in Texas. She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, gardening and painting. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church and was also a member of Beta Sigma Phi. She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Mooney; her husband, James Stuart, and a niece, Terry Garitty. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Stuart; sons, Jerry Stuart and Larry Stuart; two sisters, Mary Stahlhut and Meg Reilly; three brothers, William Mooney, Tom Mooney and Ken Mooney; nieces and nephews: Karen, Brian, Laura, Brendan and numerous great nieces and nephews. A parlor service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1st at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation held one hour prior. Father Andrew Kennedy is officiating.
