Dorothy Street

Dorothy Nell Sandefer Street, 72, of Birmingham, passed away July 9, 2010. She was a devoted minister, mother and grandmother. For several years Mrs. Street worked spreading the gospel in prisons and in feeding the underprivileged. She had an international travel and prayer ministry. She was a member of The Healing Place Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Virgil and Elsie Sandefer, brothers Virgil, Fred and Johnny Sandefer, and sister Margaret LuQuire. Services will be on Monday July 12, at 1pm at The Healing Place with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Sunday at The Healing Place. She is survived by her husband Billy G. Street Sr., sons Bill G. Street Jr. (Kathleen), Jeffrey Street Sr. (Ronda) and John Street, grandchildren Emily, Jeffrey, Timothy, and Will Street.
