Dorothy O'Kelley

Dorothy Sparks O'Kelley, age 78, of Birmingham, passed away October 3, 2012. She was a member of South Roebuck Baptist Church and was retired with 40 years of service at Protective Life Corporation. Mrs. O'Kelley was preceded in death by her husband Grant Whitfield O'Kelley, sisters Ruth Sparks McGuire and Martha Sparks Thomas. Graveside services will be held Thursday Oct 4 at 4pm with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 3pm until 4pm Thursday. She is survived by her sons Michael O'Kelley (Sandy), Timothy O'Kelley (Sherri), daughter Kristin Yeager (Jeff), grandchildren Kevin, Brian, Sean, Shannon, Allyson, Grant, Hope, and Grace, great grandchildren Hannah, Caroline, June, and Murphy, brothers George E. Sparks Jr. (Ann), Tony Sparks (Meredith). Memorials may be made to South Roebuck Baptist Church or your favorite charity. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
