Dorothy Holley

Dorothy Burns Holley "Granny", born June 12, 1916, passed to her Heavenly home on April 26, 2014. She was preceded in death by her Mother; her husband, William P. "Pop" Holley and her son, Jim Holley. Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Holley Bliss (Bob) of Birmingham ; her son, Tom Holley (Jan) of Apopka, FL.; her daughter-in-law Linda Holley, wife of the late Jim Holley of Wetumpka; her sister, Helen Oakes of Shreveport, La.; 11 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday, May 1, 2014 at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Pastor Scott Guffin officiating. The family will receive friends at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville from 8:45 am until 9:45 am Thursday. Jefferson Memorial East directing the services.
