Dorothy Causey

Dorothy Williamson Causey, age 86, of Birmingham, passed away on Jan. 11, 2016. She was a member of Parkway Christian and was always eager to lend a helping hand to family and friends in times of need. Mrs. Causey was preceded in death by her parents, Ned and Ethel Williamson; her husband, Charles Causey; her brother, Morris Williamson; her sisters, Mirene Moore, Mildred Caldwell, Vera Grace Williams, and Bessie Nell Barton. She is survived by her children, Deidre Arnold (Ricky) and Kevin Key, step-daughter, Patsy Oden (John); her sister, Omie Payne; her brothers, R.P. Williamson and Scott Williamson; her grandchildren, Crystal Ramsey and Nathan Bush; her great grandchildren, Austin Gilley, Haley Gilley, and Delta Ramsey; and a host of nieces and nephews, who she loved very much. Funeral service will be held on January 15, 2016 at 12:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, with Rev. Micah Williamson officiating. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
