Doris Weber

Doris E Wright Weber, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, born August 19, 1938 in Marshall County Alabama, went to be with the lord March 1, 2017 at her home in Birmingham. She was preceded in death by her father, Leland H Wright and daughter Teresa R Roper. She is survived by her mother, Naomi C. Wright Bramlett, sisters, Esther Lee and Gloria Campbell, her husband of 61 years William H (Bill) Weber, children Karen Sapp, Rita Hosmer, William (Hank) Weber, Leland Weber and Elizabeth McLaughlin, 9 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. A lady of seemingly boundless energy, intelligence and courage, in addition to being a wife and mother, operated her Irondale located business for more than 50 years. She served on the Irondale zoning board and was a civic leader. She leaves behind a bereaved host of additional family and friends, and will sorely be missed by all. Visitation will be held at Jefferson Memorial on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. The service will follow directly at 12:00 pm in the Jefferson Memorial Chapel.
