Doris Jane Uga Mason, born March 24, 1934 in East. St. Louis, Illinois. Passed away on April 8, 2011. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11 beginning at 11:00 AM with Chapel services at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. She is preceded in death by her son, Keith Mason; daughters, Carole M. Peoples; father, William A. Uga; mother, Roxie M. Uga Talbert; stepfather, Russell Talbert; sisters, Connie Herzog and nephews, Warren Herzog. She is survived by her husband, George R. Mason; son, David W. (Susan) Mason; daughter, Norma M. Louria; grandson, Michael D. Mason; granddaughters, Alicia M. Gilmore, Susan G. Vasquez, Amanda P. (James) Moncrief and Heather L. Peoples; step granddaughter, Chandler Abel; and two nieces.
