Donna Shanks

Donna Marie (wifealicious) Shanks, age 67, passed away on March 1, 2025. She was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Journey Class Life Group. Donna loved going to the beach, meeting people, making friends, laughing and traveling. She loved life. Mrs. Shanks was one of a kind. She was the best wife, mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents James and Myra Ingram.

Donna is survived by her husband Jimmie (hubalicious) Shanks; son, Teegan N. Mauter; 3 stepchildren, Jimmie (partner Amanda) Shanks, Jr., Rosie L. (partner Nohea) Shanks, Lacie (Timothy) Shanks Warren; sister, Myra (Kenny) Ballard; sister-in-law, Linda Eades Shanks; niece, Carla Ballard; nephews, Clint (Jodie) Ballard, John Eades, Jr.; 4 grand pups; 2 grand kittens; a donkey; horse; fur baby Lillie.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Gardendale First Baptist Church. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the church. The burial will be at Forest Hill Cemetery.
