Dona Marie Alldredge

Dona Marie Alldredge, age 67, passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025. Born and raised in Alabama, Dona lived a life centered on love, family, and hard work.

She dedicated many years of service to Amerex, a fire extinguisher manufacturer, before continuing her career as a faithful newspaper carrier for the Birmingham News. Through her work and daily life, Dona touched many people with her kindness and determination.

Beyond her work, Dona found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved watching game shows, reading novels, and spending time with her family - the role she cherished most of all. A devoted and proud mother, she is survived by her children Amber Alldredge, Sylvia Alldredge, Heather Alldredge, and Felecia Alldredge; and her grandchildren Gracie, Sydney, Matthew, Emma, Kaylee, Richie, and Zander, all of whom brought her immense pride and happiness.

Those who knew Dona will remember her as a loving, family-oriented woman whose warmth and dedication enriched the lives of everyone around her.

A funeral service to honor and celebrate her life will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, AL.
